Winners Real Madrid have 4 players in the team, as do Liverpool who narrowly missed out on a historic treble. Manchester City, Chelsea, and PSG have one representative each
Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid)
Courtois’ inclusion was in no doubt after his heroics in the final.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Possibly at fault for Vinicius’ winner in the final, but still had a tremendous campaign overall.
Antonio Rüdiger (Chelsea)
Has been one of the best in the world since Tuchel took over and is rightfully included in this team.
Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)
Liverpool’s leader at the back is one of the bet defender’s of his generation and had another top season.
Andy Robertson (Liverpool)
Dependable as ever at left-back for Liverpool, always a minimum 7/10.
Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
Arguably the bet player in the Premier League and the best midfielder in the world, KDB had to be in.
Fabinho (Liverpool)
Solid option in midfield but some would argue Casemiro and Rodri were more deserving of this spot.
Luka Modrić (Real Madrid)
Some stunning performances and big moments in this campaign as he helped take Real Madrid to the trophy. Will go down as one of the greatest Champions League players of all time
Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain)
Snubbed Real Madrid to stay at PSG after another tremendous season. One of the best around right now.
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
Arguably player of the season in the Champions League, scored all the important goals in Real’s run to the final.
Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid)
Huge improvement this season as he’s finally added consistent end product to his game.
